What this means for your centre
- Term billing: a Monday class can have 3 fewer lessons in 2027 than a Tuesday class. Decide up front whether you prorate fees or schedule replacement lessons.
- Make-up lessons: publish replacement dates at the start of term, so parents can plan around them.
- Saturday holidays: 3 public holidays fall on a Saturday in 2027 (Chinese New Year, Labour Day and Christmas Day), the busiest day for weekend classes. Labour Day and Christmas Day have no observed weekday, so weekday classes run as normal that week.
- Long weekends: expect lower attendance around the 5 long weekends in 2027, when families travel.
